Homestead Exemption

The Florida Homestead Exemption entitles homeowners to a tax deduction from their home's assessed value up to $50,000.

You are eligible if:

• The property is your primary residence

• You purchased the home before January 1 of the current year

​

Applications are due March 1 for each tax year.
